Instructions for Replacing IS-REP1 with IS-REP2

This is a REQUIRED STEP...

 

Replacing IS-REP1 with IS-REP2 (IS-HUB2 or IS-HUB2F required)

  1. Disconnect the System
    Unplug the Hub from power and disconnect the IS-REP Repellers from the Hub.
  2. Reconnect Hub to App
    Plug the Hub back in to power and confirm it is connected to the app.
  3. Confirm Firmware Version
    Once connected, navigate to the Hub page on the LIV+ 2 App and click the “i” in the top right. Ensure the firmware version is 5.3.6.1 or greater. If so, skip to 4.
    1. Initiate Update
        Contact Thermacell Support to begin an OTA update.
  4. Reconnect Repellers
    After the hub update is complete, unplug the hub again and reconnect the IS-REP2 chain to the hub.
  5. Final Setup & Test
    Plug the hub back in and test the system to ensure everything is working properly. 

New Installation of IS-REP2 with IS-HUB2 (Plan to do this a day prior to installation)

  1. Connect the Hub to Power
    Plug the hub into power and connect it to the LIV+ 2 App.
  2. Initiate Update
    Allow the device to remain online overnight, and it will receive an automatic update.
  3. Confirm Firmware Version
    Navigate to the Hub page on the LIV+ 2 App and click the “i” in the top right. Ensure the firmware version is 5.3.6.1 or greater. If so, skip to 4.
    1. Force Update
        Contact Thermacell Support to begin a forced OTA update
  4. Connect Repellers
    After the Hub update is complete, unplug the hub again and connect the IS-REP2 chain to the hub.
  5. Final Setup & Test
    Plug the hub back in and test the system to ensure everything is working properly.
