Troubleshooting
Why is my Rechargeable Refill is Not Full?
The amount of liquid in each rechargeable cartridge varies depending on the number of protection hours. For our larger cartridges, a 40-hour refill will be completely full, while a 36-hour refill will have slightly less liquid. For our smaller cartridges, the 18 hour will be about ½ full, the 12 hour will be about ¼ full, and the 8 hour will be just below ¼ full. Please click here for a visual chart of all refill levels.
Why did my Fuel-ZoneGuard mats turn white too soon?
The MATS have two chemicals on them. the first chemical is the repellent. The second chemical is a timed released blue dye. The blue dye, can fade in some cases in a short period of time, but the repellent remains on the MAT for the full 3-4 hours. Our testing shows that after 4 hours, 25% is still on the mat.You can leave the Mats in even if they turn white a bit sooner than you expected. The environment can cause this to happen as well: heat, humidity, wind. and altitude. We recommend just leaving them in for the full 3-4 hours even if they seem to be turning white. if you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us. Thank you,
Why is my Fuel-ZoneGuard mat discolored?
It is normal for a repellent mat to appear dark brown on the bottom and nearly white on the top as the active ingredient is released during use. Please continue using the mat until it reaches its full 4-hour effectiveness period, even if the color changes are visible.
Note: Environmental factors may cause the color of the repellent mat to vary during use. However, regardless of its appearance, the mat remains effective for up to 4 hours. Please continue using the mat for the full 4-hour effectiveness period rather than relying solely on its color to determine when it should be replaced.
