Troubleshooting

Why is my Backpacker repeller not working?

Please ensure that you screw it down the Backpacker completely vertical. Do not hold it an angle as the gas canister will create condensation if held at an angle. This can cause the regulator to be impaired.

Next please ensure that you screw the device down on the the gas canister fully (hand-tight).

Then turn the device on and listen for the gas flow, if you hear the hisssss of the gas releasing, let it do this for about 20 seconds, then hit the igniter a few times. If it still doesn't work, please let us know and we'll take the next steps in replacing the device. Thank you.
